Tronus Abyss: Vuoto spazio trionfo

You know that terribly boring, mind-numbing, makes you want to slit your wrists band called Sunn O)))? Yeah, well, I think you’ve guessed I don’t like them. Like them? I’d rather stare at dirt for hours than have to go through of their records, or anything remotely doom/drone/whatever. Tronus Abyss apparently were black metal at some point, but now they’re just boring noise. This is probably this most tedious album I’ve heard all year. I wish I was kidding. I want to either sleep or die. Or both. To sum it up, they’re just like Sunn O)).
The sound evolves around some sort of industrial rock, metal hasn’t even anything to do with it. You can catch a decent piece of melody very rarely, and that gets repeated to shit and drowned in a myriad of annoying sounds and effects. I really don’t like to play the ignorant asshole card, being all extreme and shit, but I have a really hard time understanding the appeal of this. You’re either on drugs to make this sort of music, or on drugs to be able to appreciate it. Really, this is nothing more than the soundtrack of a heroin overdose.
“Vuoto Spazio Trionfo” actually made me feel physically ill, and unprofessional as it is, I really can’t listen to this all the way through. It feels like my veins are being flooded with gutter water and my eyeballs are being squeezed by pliers. If you want to kill yourself, but haven’t quite mustered the courage, listen to this album. If the music itself doesn’t make you want to end your life, the terrible Italian spoken pieces will. Guaranteed.
